Installation
Once we have a date agreed for installation, confirm your order with our team. Materials will be ordered and the lead time to your installation will start.
What's the Process?
- The Roof is first cleaned and dry.
- 100 mm Xtratherm Thin-R insulation boards installed; Entire roof will be covered with pre-coated with LAVA 20 18 mm OSB boards.
- The joints and splits covered using PU mastic.
- Quick primer is applied over the entire area.
- 2nd Coat of LAVA 20 is applied over the entire area.
- Dark grey topcoat applied over entire area.
- New Flashing installation.
- The roof is inspected to ensure everything has been covered and repaired adequately.
What is LAVA 20 Polyurethane
Owl Lava 20 is a single component polyurethane liquid waterproofing system. It is weather & UV resistant. It holds excellent thermal resistance, the product never turns soft. Lava 20 has resistance in the cold: The film remains elastic even down to -40 oC. It also has excellent mechanical properties, high tensile and tear strength, high abrasion resistance. Along with holding good chemical resistance. The film breathes so there is no accumulation of humidity under the coat.
